Retino A- Tretinoin comprises of the active ingredient tretinoin, it is a keratolytic medication which also contains polyoxyl 40 stearate, stearyl alcohol, stearic acid, isopropyl myristate, butylated hydroxytoluene, sorbic acid and xanthan gum.
When you use Retino A- Tretinoin one should avoid direct exposure to artificial UV Rays and direct sunlight. Direct exposure of Retino A- Tretinoin to sunlight may cause sun burn. When you use Retino A- Tretinoin avoid it of getting in your lips, nose, mouth and eyes. Doctor should be aware if you are allergic to Retino A- Tretinoin before prescribing it to you.
Before applying Retino A- Tretinoin on your skin please go through the information which is provided by the doctor or the pharmacist. Clean the affected area of your skin with the minor soap content or the cleaner which does not contain components of soap. Let the affected area on which you are going to apply Retino A- Tretinoin dry properly, after the affected surface is dried up take a small amount of Retino A- Tretinoin cream on your finger tip and apply a very thin layer of the cream on the affected area usually once daily or while going to the bed or as suggested by doctor or pharmacist. In some cases before applying the Retino A- Tretinoin cream on your skin you need to wait for at least twenty to thirty minutes so as you apply it on the affected area. One who is using this medication should take care that it should be only applied on skin which is affected and it should not be applied to the inner parts of lips, nose and mouth. Retino A- Tretinoin should not be ever applied on the surfaces where you have a cut, the skin which is sunburned and on the affected skin. When applying Retino A- Tretinoin medication you should be aware of not getting this medication in your eyes and if in some cases it goes then you need to wash your eyes with plenty of water, the best way of not getting the medication in your eyes is to wash your hands immediately after using the medication. Do not use larger amount of medication so as using larger amounts won’t cure it faster, in fact it will result in redness of skin and pain.
