Lumigan is a 0.03% solution of bimatoprost, which contains preservative called benzalkonium chloride.
Contact lenses must be removed before use, and you can wear them back in no less than 15 minutes; other ointments or eye drops should be taken after or before five minutes of Bimatoprost –Careprost dosage.
Once daily bimatoprost 0.03% ophthalmic solution to be more effective than timolol twice daily which reduces the intraocular pressure (IOP) and as operative as or more operative than the prostaglandin equivalents latanoprost and travoprost in reducing intraocular pressure.
Immediately after administering the eye drops close the eye and press at the corner of the eye closest to your nose for about one minute. This is to lessen the amount of medicine that may be immersed into the bloodstream, which will raise the local result in the eye and lessen any adverse effects elsewhere in the body.
You have to take care to avoid the drops running onto the skin around the eyes, cheeks or other parts of skin, as frequent contact with the skin can result in hair growth in those parts. Wipe off any additional eye drops that run onto your skin.
If you miss a dose just apply your next day dose as usual. Don't use the drops two times in a day to cover up for a missed dose.
You should not exceed the suggested dose, as using the drops more recurrently can actually make them less operative.

Bimatoprost –Careprost is a product which does not requires any special storage conditions, normally store it at room temperature.
